DESCRIPTION The Station House is understood to have been built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel in 1844 and adjoined the railway and platform for Frocester Station, which was finally closed in 1961. Set in some 1.45 acres of gardens and paddocks, the property is approached over a long driveway and sites centrally in the plot with further potential to extend. Built from Ashlar stone under a tiled roof, the extended accommodation extends to around 1,480 sq.ft and is arranged over two floors and provides high ceilinged rooms typical of its era and a total of three bedrooms and two reception rooms and could benefit from some further modernisation but in general, is well presentable and has double glazing and oil fired central heating. Externally the large gardens and paddock extend to some 1.45 acres in all and have been used for equestrian use whilst an excellent steel framed barn ( 14.7m x 7.5m) provides indoor stabling with 4 stables and a tack room. Further outbuildings include garaging and workshops whilst a two bedroom mobile home provides 'ancillary accommodation' and the whole offers great potential for further expansion or enjoying the country life.
