Creating a family legacy
Established James Pyle & Co in late 2012, James Pyle proudly follows in the footsteps of his father, who ran the esteemed A.R. Pyle estate agency in Stroud. James honed his skills at a surveyor practice, managed offices for a London-based agency, and became a director of a prominent estate agency firm in Wiltshire.
James Pyle & Co has evolved into a highly regarded and uniquely identifiable brand, growing organically through recommendations and word of mouth. Family-owned and run by James, his wife Sam, and their daughter Rosie. We are proud to have a loyal team with bags of experience and enthusiasm who share a steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional results and outstanding service.

Our Offices
Our main office is based in the delightful Cotswold village of Sherston, on the Gloucestershire and Wiltshire border, some 5 miles from the market towns of Tetbury and Malmesbury and within 10 minutes of Junctions 17 and 18 of the M4. Westonbirt Arboretum and Badminton Estate are on our doorstep as are the cultural cities of Bath and Bristol (20 minutes away).
Our Coverage
We cover a wide area across the southern Cotswolds, mainly in the counties of Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire and occasionally further afield having successfully sold property in Bristol, Wales and London too. We are passionate about our market towns, villages, the Stroud Valleys, Painswick and its surrounding villages.
Our Office Hours
We operate traditional office hours, yet we are fully supported by a local business taking our overspill and out of hours calls ensuring our phones are answered 7 days a week until late, meaning we never miss a call.

We are proud members of several professional bodies including the NAEA, NFOPP and we abide by codes of conduct set out by the Trading Standards Institute, The Property Ombudsman and HMRC. All our staff are continually trained and assessed by the above bodies to ensure we operate at the highest levels in the industry.
