Meet the Team

James has lived in the Cotswolds all his life and is a second generation estate agent, having followed in the footsteps of his late father who previously owned offices in Painswick and Stroud where he was brought up.

For over 25 years, James has been integrally involved with some of the best independent estate agents in the UK and has personally established and run offices in the market towns of Stroud, Nailsworth, Malmesbury, Corsham and Marlborough selling all kinds of properties throughout Gloucestershire and Wiltshire where he is well known to many. His determination to succeed and provide a first class and enthusiastic service to all his clients has been at the forefront of his business ethics but the biggest strength is the genuinely warm, friendly and professional approach that the team offers all to of our clients.

James founded James Pyle & Co in 2012, initially running from a home office however the business has quickly grown to what it is today thanks largely to his great team. James is married to Sam and has two teenage daughters. He loves photography and enjoys walking his dogs to unwind. A keen 'boules' player he is active in many Sherston activities and his ambition is to explore world on his motorcycle and in particular, to ride the Old Silk Road from London to Beijing.

Sam married James in 1995 and was a Professional International Show Jumper before ending her equestrian career to look after their two daughters. Sam started working at Charlton Park Estate as Estate Manager in 1999 before founding James Pyle & Co with James in 2012. Sam has a wealth of experience in Estate Management, events and general organization and has an important role in the running of the company between juggling business, home and horses.

Having grown up in Surrey, Victoria started her career in lettings in 1996 with Palace Gate Estates based in South West London where she progressed through the ranks to Associate Director. In 2003 she moved to Wiltshire working as a relocation agent for Countrywide and the MOD. After taking time out to raise her three children, Victoria joined James Pyle & Co in 2014 as the Lettings Director. In her spare time Victoria enjoys keeping fit, walking her dog and playing tennis.

Rosie Pyle is following in the family’s footsteps and is the third generation in the Pyle family to become an Estate Agent. Rosie joined the team after completing Sixth Form at Malmesbury school in 2017 and her passion for the business has grown since. She has an infectious and bubbly personality. Rosie has inherited her mother’s passion for horses and competes in her spare time.

Rosie has grown up in the Cotswolds and has a good knowledge of the local area. With a dynamic background of photography, she joined James Pyle & Co in 2015 and assumed the role as Marketing Manager enabling her to continue her passion for photography. In her spare time, Rosie is a keen long distance runner and enjoys walking her dog.

Ollie has lived in Tetbury all of his life and joined us whilst finishing his education at Cirencester College studying Business. Ollie is an enthusiastic hard worker taking a key role of a Sales Negotiator. In his spare time, Ollie enjoys baking, socialising and exploring new places.
